ASQA Employer & Learner Surveys

1. What are the ASQA Employer & Learner Surveys?

The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) requires Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to collect and annually report data using Learner Engagement and Employer Satisfaction Surveys. This process measures training quality and drives continuous improvement. Summaries must be submitted to ASQA by the National Compliance Team annually.

Currently, the Training & Compliance managers and National Compliance team members have access to the Surveys results, which they access via an assigned permission-set in Salesforce.

2. Process Overview

The surveys are triggered from Salesforce, with the survey links embedded within existing email notifications which are sent to either the student (Learner Survey) or the booking contact (Employer Questionnaire).

Process for the Learner Survey:

  1. The survey is embedded within the existing email sent to a student once they've attended their accredited course, the student accesses the survey by clicking on the button ASQA Learner Survey:

2. Once the student opens the survey link from the button, they complete each question on the form by clicking on one of the radio buttons alongside it. The survey consists of 4 pages and the student will need to click the button Next Page at the end of each page in order to progress through it:

3. Once they have completed and submitted the survey, it will integrate with Salesforce and create a record containing the survey results.

Process for the Employer Questionnaire

  1. The survey link is embedded within the email sent to the booking contact which contains their booking's results. This email is only sent to booking contacts where the booking is for a Corporate / B2B account and also all of their staff related to the booking have been marked against the respective course.

The contact accesses the survey by clicking on the button ASQA Employer Questionnaire:

2. Once the contact opens the survey link, they will need to complete each question on the form by clicking on one of the radio buttons alongside it (refer to the above section regarding the Learner Survey):

3. As per the other survey type, once they have completed and submitted the survey, it will integrate with Salesforce and create a record containing the results.

3. What does the completed survey look like in Salesforce?

You can access the survey results from either the Related Tab or the Related List Quick Links from the following Objects within Salesforce:
