5. Delivering a Service Report
What is a Service Report
Because of the nature of finance applications, Invoices are often limited in what information they can display and how they can be formatted.
Some customers would like to receive reports about their Service that are formatted differently.
They may want more information, a summarised report or even a report that focuses on specific details about their AEDs.
To help fulfill this need the Restocker App has the ability to send 'Service Reports'.
These are different to an Invoice and have multiple options with different choices for how details are displayed.
How to Send a Service Report
The ability to deliver a Service Report becomes available after a Service has been Completed and transformed into an Opportunity record.
To send a Service Report, select the Template from the drop down and then use the 'Deliver Report' button.
The report will begin generating in a new modal.
Once the report has been generated, a preview window will appear with the options to send via Email or to Download.
If you would like a full preview of the report before delivering to the Service Contact, please Download the .pdf file and view it.
Once you have confirmed the Report, you may deliver it to the customer via the 'Send Email' button.
Service Report Templates
There are multiple Template options to choose from. Each with their own layouts and levels of information.
Per Asset - With Line Items
The 'Per Asset - With Line Items' Template shows each Asset from the Service as its own entry with some additional details about the specific Asset.
If the Asset is an AED, details about the new Expiration Date or Batch Number for any Pads or Batteries that were replaced will be included.
The individual Items, Quantities and Totals for the Asset will be included underneath.
Per Asset - Summarised
The 'Per Asset - Summarised' Template is similar to the 'Detailed' Template. However, unlike the Detailed Template, this Template only shows the Totals for the individual Items and not the specific Items themselves.
AED Service Report
The AED Service Report provides a better layout for just the AED components of a Service.
This template includes details such as the Expiration/Manufacture Date of the replaced consumables.
Full Kit Report
The Full Kit report is similar to the 'Detailed' Template with the exception that it shows all the Items that are included in an Asset's Kit Definition.
This means the customer will see each Asset, the Items and Quantities that are supposed to be included in the Asset and the Items and Quantities that were Restocked.
