This guide will outline how to create a promo code.

click on search

1. Begin typing promo codes in the search bar
2. Select Promo codes and discounts from the drop-down menu

Select new

• Promo code type: select multi-use in all circumstances
• Promo code: Enter the name of the code into this field, eg PFA149.

Note: This name will be what people need to type and remember to apply codes.

• Description: enter more details about the promo code
• Type: Select $ or % depending on specific requirements
• Limit Usage to: 0 = unlimited, 1 or more will limit it to this many transactions.

IMPORTANT: Promo Code limits apply to the transaction not the product. I can apply a Promo Code with a limit of 1 to a single cart with 18 seats in a course, or 100 First aid kits in a single transaction.

• Discount Amount: Enter the discount amount in the applicable field (depending on what you selected for type)
• Start Date: When would you like the promo to commence

Very Strongly recommend that you do not have the start date be on the same day, or prior to the promo code creation.

• End Date: When you would like the promotion to end
• Exclude from Web: Select this if you would like this Promo Code to be Unavailable on the website:

Example may be a volunteer promotion that we want to use for 100% discount on volunteer training, we would not want this to be available to use on the website.

Please note: usage details are read-only. They will display data used for reporting purposes.

Select save.

Note: In all circumstances $ based values MUST be applied to specific products. In almost all circumstances % based discounts should be applied to specific products.

Select the related tab and click on new

If you need to search for a product, begin typing the product name in the search-bar.

Hit enter

Click on required product.

Click on save
