Creating a new B2B Account
This guide will outline the steps that are involved to create a new B2B Account in Salesforce.
Initial search
- This guide assumes you have completed a search for an existing account. If this is not the case please search for the account (URL Link) first
Create a new account
Select “New”
Select the B2B record type
Select “Next”
Data fields completion
- Account name: Please refer to Naming Convention (URL Link)
- Parent Account: Leave blank if unsure
- ABN: if known enter now
- Recertification Email Opt Out: Select if the organisation does NOT wish for their employees to receive course refresher reminders - this does not manage marketing
- Shipping Address: Only complete if shipping is different to billing
- Other Fields: Fill in all other fields to the extent possible
Confirm details and save
- Confirm data entry
- Create the new account by selecting “Save”
