Creating a new account (Training Venue)

Creating a new St John Training Venue

This guide will outline the steps involved to open a new venue in Salesforce, for St John public training courses. Please note, this is not used for on-site bookings.

  • This guide assumes you have completed a search for an existing account. If this is not the case please search for the account (URL Link) first

Go to Accounts

 

Click on “New”

Select record type – St John Training Venue

 

Click on “Next”

Data capture

  • Account Name: Refer to Naming Convention (URL Link)
  • Parent Account: If unsure leave field empty
  • Capacity: This is the maximum number of participants the training room in this venue can cater for
  • Contact Details Billing Address: Input venue street address in this section
  • Other Fields: Fill in all other fields to the extent possible
  • Note: Red * is a required field

Make sure to duplicate the billing and shipping add billing address, as the website currently uses billing address and salesforce uses shipping address.

 

Create record

Once you have verified you are satisfied with the data entered, press “Save”
