Creating a New Contact (Corporate)

This guide will outline how to add a new Corporate Contact to an existing account. (URL link to types of Accounts)

Initial  search

  • This guide assumes you have completed a search for an existing contact. If this is not the case please search for the contact (URL Link) first

Go to Contacts

 

Click on “New”

Select a record type - Corporate

 

 

Click “Next”

 

Data capture

  • Account Name: Link it to the correct account (Types of accounts URL link)
    • Use SA Bucket account for general public
    • Use organisational account if they are linked to an org
  • Contact Name: Please refer to Naming Convention (URL link)
  • Mailing Address: Enter the contact’s billing information here
  • Other Address: Enter the contact’s shipping address here
  • Other Fields: Fill in all other fields to the extent possible
  • Note: Red * is a required field

 

Create record

 

Once you have verified that you are satisfied with the data entered, press “Save”
