What is an Asset

Assets are an object used to assist in the restocking of First Aid Kits, Signage and AED resources.

They allow you to track the type of kit or AED, when it was bought, when it was last serviced, and other key details as desired.

They are user created, not automatically created by the system.

When to use an Asset

This guide will give you an understanding about the when to add/enter an asset for an account.

 

Asset Description

 

An asset has been specifically designed to manage a restocking item. E.g. an AED, portable or wall mounted first aid kits or eye washing station, etc. an item that requires to be restocked.

 

This does not include individual items or consumables such as a bandage or saline solution, etc.

 

Asset Creation

An Asset can be created either as a single entry or a pack item.

PLEASE NOTE:

When entering a pack item, a separate asset must be created for each type of asset.

 

E.g. if you had 5 first aid kits in a location; 3 were a portable workplace first aid kits and 2 were wall mounted workplace first aid kits, each type MUST have its own entry.
