Creating an Asset

This guide is designed to assist when creating an asset.

Select Accounts

 

Select the Accounts tab.

 

Select the Account

 

Locate the account you are wanting to create an asset for.

 

Click on the Account.

 

Confirm Assets

 

Scroll down to Assets and confirm that the asset DOES NOT exist for the selected account.

This will prevent an asset being entered multiple times.

 

 

 

Create a new asset

 

Click on New.

Key Fields

  • Asset Name: enter an asset name. This may include a location, increment number or combination of both. E.g. ‘AED Warehouse’ or ‘AED #4’ or ‘AED #4 Warehouse’
  • Status: select the appropriate status of the asset from the drop-down box.

 

  • Product: enter product in the search bar and select asset from the autogenerated list.
  • Quantity: enter the number of Product. (1 Asset per AED)
  • Usage End Date: enter earliest expiry date of items.
  • Competitor Asset: tick this box if the asset was not supplied by St John SA.
  • Fill in other details as necessary

 

Save  

Click on Save.
