Creating a new Enquiry Case
Creating an Enquiry should be used the majority of the time if you are making a new case, if you are unsure the type of case to create then create an enquiry type case. If you are after more detail about the kind of case to make please go to: General Information about cases
Select the 9 dots and search for cases. Select Cases from the list
In the upper right hand side of the screen select "New"
Select the “Enquiry” Case type
Note: In the event you only have access to create one record type you will not see an option
Add as much detail as is possible to the case
- Status: New
- Case origin: How did you become aware of the case.
- Case reason: select from the drop-down menu.
- Priority: How quickly does this need to be actioned (note Medium is standard)
- Contact: Who is the individual you are communicating with?
- Subject: Add a subject - a brief summary of the issue
- Description: Add details about the issue here - what is the problem that you would like someone to solve
- Note: The red * is a required field
Confirm the details you have entered and select save - or save and new if you need to make another case
