This guide will outline how to convert a Lead to a new Opportunity, Account and Contact. You have the flexibility to create 1, 2 or all 3 of these objects, or alternatively link them to existing ones in part or full.

This guide assumes you are in the Lead, if this is not the case please search for the Lead (URL link) or create the Lead (url link) first

a: Create new: Select create new if you cannot find an existing Account

b: Choose existing: search for the existing Account.

1. Select Choose existing
2. Conduct a search to discover if the Account already exists
3. If the Account exists select the Account and match, then go to step 3
4. If no Account exists then select Create New

a: Create new: Select create new if you cannot find an existing Contact

b: Choose existing: search for the existing Contact

1. Select Choose existing
2. Conduct a search to discover if the Contact already exists
3. If the Contact exists select the contact and match, then go to step 3
4. If no Contact exists then select Create New

a: Create new: Select create new if you cannot find an existing Opportunity

b: Choose existing: search for the existing Opportunity.

c: Do not Create: If no Opportunity is required

1. Determine if an Opportunity is required
2. If no Opportunity is required then select c and go to step 4
3. If an Opportunity is required then select Choose existing
4. Conduct a search to discover if the Opportunity already exists
5. If the Opportunity exists select the Opportunity and match, then go to step 4
6. If no Opportunity exists then select Create New

Once you have confirmed the details then press “Convert”

Note: This action will consume the lead, you will not be able to access it again. Be certain of the information before finalising

On successful conversion you will see this screen, from here you can close or select any object to start working on them
