Logging a call on a Lead
This guide will outline how to log a call on a Lead in Salesforce.
Initial search
This guide assumes you are in the Lead, if this is not the case please search for the Lead (URL link) or create the Lead (url link) first
Click on the “Log a Call” tab
a: Ensure the Activity tab is selected
b: Click on ‘Log a Call’
c: click “Add”
Enter details of the call
a: (Optional) Related to:Link this Lead to other objects.
DO NOT relate this to an account or contact.
b: Type of call: Who called who and why?
c: Select subject: Why did the call happen?
d: Comments: Record a recap of the call in the comments field.
Log the Call
Confirm the details and then select “Save”
