Much like outlook or other e-mail clients, e-mail templates are predefined e-mail structures that can be sent to the end user. Templates can be automatically triggered, or manually added to an e-mail being prepared via objects such as Leads or Cases.

When using templates where you have manually made created the e-mail and imported the template, you will be able to make any edits you require to personalise the message.
