The 'CustomerEmail' is invalid

Problem

When attempting to pay for a Booking the following message is displayed:


The 'ÇustomerEmail' element is invalid - The value 'null' is invalid according to its datatype 'AnyEmail' - The Pattern constraint failed.

Cause

The system cannot pickup an email address from the booking primary contact.

Solution

  1. Ensure the Booking Contact actually has an email address on their Salesforce CONTACT record.
  2. Ensure the Booking Contact is the correct person and that you have not selected the wrong person with a similar name.
  3. If it is the correct person and the correct email address, ensure the person's CONTACT record is not associated with a Company ACCOUNT other than the once you are attempting to book training for.
