Create Proficiency Product

This guide should be used when you need to create a new proficiency product within salesforce.

Proficiencies are non accredited training that members undertake within the organisation. For accredited training a request should be made to National

If you are wanting to grant an individual a proficiency then please refer to the “Give a member a proficiency” guide.

Select the 9 dots and search for Proficiency Product

 

Select New

 

Select the proficiency record type and press next

Note: this step may be skipped if you can only create one type

 

Fill in the new proficiency details

 

Proficiency Class Code: The Code used for the new proficiency

Validity Duration: How long in years is this proficiency valid for to two decimal places? (If it should not expire set validity to 99 years)

Proficiency Product Name: The full name of the proficiency

Active: set this to true as a currently active proficiency

Youth: Set this to true if this Proficiency only relates to youth members of St John

Active Start Date: The date from which this proficiency may be earned

Notes: Any notes about this proficiency.

Note: Replaced by and active end date should not typically be completed on creation.

Save the new proficiency
