Link Scope of Practice Product, Competencies and Proficiencies
This guide will outline how to link proficiencies and competencies to a Scope of practice product allowing us to use the system to enforce currency of required training.
Once linked people will only be able to receive and maintain this scope of practice if they have the current requisite Proficiencies and compliances. Should anything required expire, the Scope will also expire.
Note: This guide assumes you have already accessed the Scope of Practice Product you wish to add Competency and or Proficiency requirements for.
Go to the related tab of the Scope of practice product
Select “New” next to “Scope of Practice Product Competencies”
Set the name and select the competency
Save the record
Note: Select Save and New if creating multiple Parent / Child links
Select “New” next to “Scope of Practice Product Proficiencies”
Set the name and select the Proficiency Product
Save the record
Note: Select Save and New if creating multiple Parent / Child links
