Creating new Config Records (Ranks, Roles, Scopes etc.)

In order to configure some details about a member, we use “config records”. These are objects in salesforce intended to denote a value or criteria. Think of them as advanced picklists.

Member Role

The member role object configured the roles a member may hold within St John. The following fields are required:
Type: Determines if this is a role for committees or teams/general
Overwrite Team Leader: If set, a member attaining this role through the update member status flow will become the leader of the associated account and have their details set as primary contact
Region: The region for this role, used to filter in flows
Member Rank: The associated rank a member receives when holding this role.

Member Rank

The member rank holds the ranks a member may achieve within St John.

Scope of Practice Product

The scope of practice denotes the activity that a member may engage with in St John.
Scopes of practice have complex relationships with proficiencies.

DEMS ID Mapping: This is the referred ID used to set scope in third party rostering systems
HCP: When ticked this is a scope belonging to a healthcareprofessional, the make a scope of practice flow will require an AHPRA number be supplied when granting this scope
Clinical: When checked this member is capable of delivering clinical services at events. Used for reporting purposes
Expiry Date: Granted scopes will expire on the night of the expiry date of this scope of practice. Members with an expired scope will receive the default scope of practice as set in metadata.

Scope of practice product proficiencies: Proficiencies related to a scope of practice must be granted to a member in order for that member to be granted this scope via the make a scope of practice tool
