To identify a member of St John for the purposes of Voting we use a field on the contact record called "Voting Member"

The Voting member field is checked if the member is a member of staff, a trainer or an active volunteer. It is also checked if the contact is a member of the order and has SA as their primary residential address.

A contact can opt out of being a voting member by having their "Voting member opt out" checkbox checked.
