Adding a contact to the opportunity
This guide details how to add someone as a contact to an opportunity.
Search for the Opportunity
This guide assumes you have already accessed the opportunity, if you have not done so please complete a search first.
Locate Contact Roles
In the related TAB, scroll down to contact roles
Click on the arrow and select add contact roles
Search for and confirm the contact
Tick near the contacts name.
Click on next.
The contact is the person who has requested the quote.
In the situation where a company has more than one contact, all names will appear in the contacts list. Select the correct contact from the list by placing a tick in the box near their name.
Primary contact
It recommended to nominate the person who requested the quote as the primary contact.
Click on Save.
Confirmation
In the related tab the contacts name has been added, as the primary.
