Taking Payment via Square Invoice
This guide outlines how to make a Square Invoice.
Square Invoices are only used by specific states when they want to split a payment over multiple instalments. In order to use this payment method you must have the 'IsCanInvoiceWithSquare' custom permission.
Note: This guide assumes you are inside the payment portal, i.e. the Payment Details screen.
Creating a Square Invoice
In the Payment Details screen, select 'Square Invoice' as the Payment Method.
Do Not Enter A Promo Code - Square does not understand promo codes.
Click Finished.
The system will automatically generate the training opportunity if it is missing, then it will call out to Square in order to create the invoice and email it to the booking contact.
If successful the payment gateway will return a green banner with the payment URL for the Square Invoice. At this stage the invoice will have been sent directly to the booking contact as well.
