Types of Courses
This guide will assist when creating courses and allocating the correct type of course to be conducted.
“New Course” pop-up
Training Course
A standard public course that is available for anyone to book seats into. These courses will be able to be passed through to the website.
Composite Course
Composite Courses are attached to standard courses or industry courses. Typically, these will be something such as CPR attached to a PFA. When choosing to use this course type, it will reduce the available seats in the parent course.
Frozen
This is used by QLD to manage conversion from public courses to industry courses.
Industry
This is a course that is booked entirely by a corporate client. Generally, this is known as an onsite course in SA.
Internal Workshop:
Courses that are conducted for volunteers or staff
National Course:
Courses conducted by St John National. E.g. Cert IV TAE or Cert IV Leadership and Management.
