Resulting Students (Legacy Process)

Grading Attendees

 

This user guide will demonstrate how to grade the attendees. This procedure is completed after the assessment process.

  • This guide assumes that you are in the “Manage Attendees” window. If this is not the case please search for the course (URL link)

Access your list of attendees

 

Double check attendance before updating competencies. Sales Force will prevent attendees from being graded if they don’t have a tick next to their name in the “Course Attended” field.

a: Update Attendance: Click here to unlock the system allowing for competencies to be assessed

Select the attendee/learner

 

Click on “Update Competencies” button near the name of the attendee you wish to assess

 

Recording Results: All units of competencies are met

 

a: Competency: This column displays all units of competency in the qualification

b: Competency Status: Change the status from enrolled to competent

Note: You will be required to add comments for anyone marked “Not Competent” before saving, in each not competent assessment

Note 2: Field allows for about 10,000 characters

d: Update Competencies: Click here to update

 

WARNING: Selecting “Update Competencies” saves the record. If all units are graded it will finalise the assessment for this individual. It will trigger the post course routine, that means it will send the certificate/notice for additional details as part of the saving process.

Please note: At this stage the information on the “Current Attendees” screen does not update to state the learner is competent

 

Confirm competency status for all attendees

 

a: These attendees are marked as competent

b: This attendee is not competent in one or more units of competency

c: This attendee did not complete one or more units of competency

d: These attendees did not attend the course. The system will prevent any changes to their competency status

You must update their attendance prior to updating as competency. Failure to do so, will result in all unsaved updates being lost

Select “Update Attendance”

Upon completion you will notice the “Course Attended” ticks are now non-editable and qualifications will be emailed
