Updating Employer Permission from Manage Attendees Pages
The Manage Attendees pages on a course in Salesforce have been enhanced, so that trainers can ask corporate students whilst attending a course, who have not previously granted employer permission if they wish to change their response from 'N' to 'Y'.
This training compliance request has been introduced in order to increase the uptake of student's giving us their permission for their employer to access their training results.
1. Viewing and Updating Employer Permission - Manage Attendees (Original) Page
After clicking on the Manage Attendees button on the course, you'll notice two new columns on the page; Attendee Type and Employer Permission.
The reason Attendee Type is now visible is because the process of updating employer permission from N to Y relates mainly to the 'Corporate' student (attendee) type:
In order to change the employer permission status for a student directly from this page, carry out the following:-
1. Click on the Employer Permission value (e.g. 'N' in this case shown below).
2. This pop-up screen will appear and you will be able to change the value here (from N to Y). You also have the option here to check the employer email address with the student and changing it accordingly:
3. Click on Save when you've made the changes
The student's attendee record will now be updated.
2. Viewing and Updating Employer Permission - Manage Attendees (New) Page
After clicking on the Manage Attendees (New) button on the course, you'll notice the above-mentioned columns on this page also:
In order to change the employer permission status for a student directly from this page:
1. Click on the Employer Permission value
2. Change the value directly from the pop-up screen. Once again, you also have the option here to check the employer email address with the student and changing it accordingly:
3. Click on Save once you've made the changes
Important Note: The Employer Permission or Employer Email Address values must not be changed without the permission to do so from the student.
