Content Types

The table below describes the content types that are used on the St John website and provides links to the articles for more information.

Content type Description See Article
Article Used for time-sensitive content such as news, press releases or blog posts.
These are typically published on the News page.
Create an Article
Basic page Used for static content, e.g. ‘Who we are’, ‘What we do’.
This is the most common content type on the website.

Location  Locations are auto-populated. Do not select this content type. N/A
Position Used to list a job on the Positions Vacant page https://www.stjohnsa.com.au/join-us/positions-vacant). Create a Position (Job Vacancy)
Service Used to add a St John service e.g. Volunteering, Events, First Aid in Schools.
On the St John website, services are displayed on the Community Care > What We Do page (https://www.stjohnsa.com.au/community-care/what-we-do).
The format is hard-coded but content can be added, edited or deleted.
