Remove User from Organisation

Complete this procedure to de-link a customer from their organisation's account. This will be required if the customer leaves the organisation.

Steps

1. Search for the customer in Salesforce. See: Completing a Search.

2. Access the Contact screen for the customer.  Click the Details tab.

3. Scroll down to the Personal Information section.

4. Click on the edit icon (pencil icon) in the Account Name field.

5. Click the delete icon (x) in the Account Name field to delete the current organisation's account.

The Account Name field will be cleared allowing you to search for another account.

6. Search for and select the student bucket account. For SA, this is 'Student Bucket Account - SA'.

7. Scroll down to the Web User Details section and update the Website Role to 'Customer' and the Account Link Status to 'Pending Customer Service'.

8. Click Save. The customer is no longer linked to their former organisation's account.
