Why Changes to Pages or Products are not Displayed Immediately on Website

Changes to website pages may not be reflected immediately in your browser even if you have published the page.

There are two reasons for this:

1. Website caching

2. Syncing from   Salesforce to the website

1. View changes in Incognito/InPrivate browser window

Websites are cached, so the version you are viewing in your browser may not be the live version, but a cached version.

You can view the latest version of a website page in a New Incognito or New InPrivate window. This allows you to confirm any changes you have made immediately.

  • If you are using Chrome, click on the three dots on the right-hand corner of the window and select New Incognito window.
  • If you are using another browser, click on the three dots on the right-hand corner of the window and select New InPrivate window.

2. Syncing from Salesforce to website

Most syncing from Salesforce to the website occurs on a scheduled basis. Therefore, if a product has been updated in Salesforce, it will not be immediately updated in the website.

For more detailed information about syncing schedules from Salesforce to the website, refer to Cron Jobs.
