Link Page to Main Menu
Complete this procedure to link a page you are working on to a menu, e.g. the navigation menu which is displayed in the banner at the top of the St John SA website.
1. Access the page
Search for the page you wish to add to the main menu. See Search for Content Page.
Click the Edit button next to the relevant page.
The Edit page is displayed.
2. Edit the menu settings
Click MENU SETTINGS on the right-hand side of the Edit page.
Tick the Provide a menu link checkbox.
The MENU SETTINGS fields are displayed.
Complete the fields in the table below.
| Field | Action |
| Menu link title | This defaults to the title of the page. Leave as default. |
| Description | Enter the text you want to display when hovering over the menu link. You may leave this field blank. |
| Parent item | Select the menu which you want this menu link to appear under. |
| Weight | Select the weight of the link. This will determine where the link is positioned in the menu. The higher the weight, the lower the menu link will appear in the list, and vice versa. The weights range from -50 to 50. Being the lowest number, -50 will always appear at the top of the list. |
3. Save your work
Click the Save button.
