Create a Testimonial

A testimonial is a statement from a past customer that describes how a product or service helped them.

Each testimonial typically consists of an image of the person, their statement, and the person’s name and occupation under a red separating line.

1. Create a testimonial

Select Content > Add content > Testimonial.

The Create Testimonial page is displayed.

Complete the fields in the table below.

Field Action
Name Enter the position title.
Job Description Leave blank.
Image Upload an image of the person giving the testimonial, if required.

Note: The image will automatically be inserted in a circular frame.
Alternative text This field is displayed when an image is uploaded.
Enter a short description to be displayed if the image fails to load.
Testimonial Enter the testimonial text.

2. Check your work

To check your edits before publishing, scroll to the bottom of the page:

  • Ensure the Published checkbox is not ticked.
  • Click Save.
  • Click Preview. Alternatively, you can click on the View tab at the top of the page.

To return to the Edit view, click the edit icon  at the top right hand corner of the banner

3. Publish the page

When you are ready to publish the page, tick the Published checkbox and click Save.

The following message is displayed.

4. Display the testimonial

To display the testimonials on a page, you must add the Stories News block. See Add Stories & News. This will display the individual testimonials you have created under the heading ‘Your Stories’.
