Transfer User to Another Organisation
Complete this procedure to de-link a web user from one organisation's account and link them to another.
Steps
1. Search for the customer in Salesforce. See: Completing a Search.
2. Access the Contact screen for the customer. Click the Details tab.
3. Scroll down to the Personal Information section.
4. Click on the edit icon (pencil icon) in the Account Name field.
5. Click the delete icon (x) in the Account Name field to delete the current organisation's account.
The Account Name field will be cleared allowing you to search for another account.
6. Begin entering the name of the organisation and select the account from those listed.
If there is more than one organisation with the same name, ensure you select the correct one.
7. If required, click on Show All Results for "[Organisation]" to bring up a separate window from which to select the correct account.
8. Scroll down to the Web User Details section and update the Website Role to whatever the customer's new role is, and the Account Link Status to 'Pending Customer Service'.
9. Click Save. The customer is delinked from their previous organisation's account and linked to their new organisation's account.
