Edit Product
1. Access the Edit page of the product
Search for the product. See Search for Product/Kit/Course.
Click the Edit button next to the relevant product.
The Edit page for the product is displayed.
2. Title and Header
Do not edit the Title or Header fields.
3. Edit sort order weight
In the Sort Order Weight field, enter the sort order weight. This determines where the product is displayed in the Online Shop.
The lower the value, the nearer to the top of the Online Shop the product will appear; the higher the value, the nearer to the bottom of the page the product will appear.
For example, a product with a weight of ‘-5’ will appear above a product with a weight of ‘0’.
4. Variations
The information in this section is drawn from Salesforce. Do not edit.
The VARIATIONS section is default DRUPAL (i.e. website) functionality and cannot be disabled. However, Salesforce integration does not allow its use for stock-based product. If there are multiple variations of a product, each variation will present as a separate product when you save.
5. Edit Bestseller and On Sale flags
Tick the Bestseller checkbox if you want to flag the product as a best seller in the Online Shop.
Tick the On Sale checkbox if you want to flag the product as an on-sale item in the Online Shop.
6. Edit images
The images uploaded in the IMAGES section are displayed in the Online Shop and also the product details page.
If you want to replace an existing image:
- Click the Remove button..
- Upload a new image using one of the following methods:
- To upload an image saved in the website’s File library, click Open File Browser. When you have located the required image, click Select.
- To upload an image saved on a network drive, click Choose file to search for and select the file.
Allowable file types are PNG. GIF, JPG, JPEG. Maximum size is 100 MB.
You can add multiple images to a single product. These will be displayed on the product details page.
In the Alternative text field, enter a short description to be displayed if the image fails to load.
You will not be able to publish a product if you have not uploaded an image.
7. Edit Store Category and Product Category
Follow the steps in the table below to edit the store or product category.

| Store Category | The store categories (e.g. First Aid Kits) are displayed at the top of the ONLINE SHOP under the breadcrumb. If a store category is ticked, the product will be displayed when the corresponding category is selected in the Online Shop. Select the required store categories. |
| Product Category | The product categories are displayed as PRODUCT TYPE in the online shop. If a product category is selected, the product will be displayed when the corresponding product type is selected in the Online Shop Select the required product categories. |
8. Edit Description, Details and Compliance fields
Follow the steps in the table below to edit description, details or compliance fields.

| Compliance | This field sometimes contains standard text and sometimes is empty. The information is not displayed on the website. Note: It is unclear what the purpose of this field is and if it is required to enter anything in here. |

| global_discounted_price | This is entered in Salesforce. Do not edit. |
| pricebook entry id | This is entered in Salesforce. Do not edit. |
| Is Taxable | This is entered in Salesforce. Do not edit. |
| Display Code | This is entered in Salesforce. Do not edit. |
9. URL path settings
Do not edit the URL PATH SETTINGS (on the right hand side of the screen).
10. Save
Do you want to publish the product immediately?
- If yes, leave the Published checkbox ticked.
- If no, untick the Published checkbox.
Click the Save button.
