Block Overview
This guide provides information about the most commonly used blocks on the St John website.
You can add blocks to the Basic page and Article. The Service, Title and Testimonial pages are pre-built. You cannot add blocks to these page types.
If you are unsure which block to use, build the page in the test environment first, then replicate it in production.
| Block | Description |
| Slideshow | This block features an image or images and may include a title and caption under the title. Basic pages and Articles automatically include a Slideshow block. |
| Content | This block consists of a title, body and optional buttons. It is the most commonly used block on the website. |
| Statement | This block is used for static, one-line statements which are displayed in a ribbon either at the top or bottom of a page. |
| Stories & News | This block displays customer testimonials and the latest news articles. |
| Button | This block is used to add a button anywhere on a page. The button is independent of other blocks and may be as wide as the page. |
| Community | This block is used to add community item tiles to the page. Community item tiles describe how St John supports the community. |
| News Landing | This block is used to add a section which links to the Latest News page. |
| Get Involved | This block is used to provide information about how people can get involved with St John. |
| Image | This block is used to add an image anywhere on a page. |
| Supporters | This block is used to display the logos of St John supporters. |
| Services | This block is used to add tiles which describe the services St John offers. |
| Annual Reports | This block is used to add links to the annual reports. |
| Course Listing | This block is used to build the Our Courses section on the Training Courses page. It automatically adds search and sorting fields and a selection of course tiles. |
| Title | This block is used to add a heading anywhere on a page. The heading will be ALL CAPS. |
| Text | This block is used to add a block of plain text anywhere on a page. This block may be preceded by a Title block |
| Course Wizard | This block is used to build the Course Wizard. A Course Wizard is displayed on the Training Courses page of the St John SA website. |
| Carousel | This block is used to create a carousel of sponsor logos. A sponsor carousel is displayed at the bottom of the St John SA homepage. |
